Next, head to Tarangire National Park, home to vast herds of elephants and iconic baobab trees. The park is also home to lions, leopards, giraffes, and various antelope species. Tarangire River attracts animals, especially during the dry season, offering excellent wildlife viewing opportunities.
Lake Manyara National Park is a small yet diverse park, famous for its tree-climbing lions and flamingo-filled alkaline lake. The park offers a chance to spot elephants, giraffes, zebras, and over 400 bird species, including pelicans and storks, making it a birdwatcher’s paradise.
Your adventure continues with a visit to Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Game drives provide an opportunity to witness the lush landscapes and diverse animal species, including hyenas, hippos, and more.
The journey then takes you to Serengeti National Park, world-famous for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains. Serengeti also offers year-round wildlife viewing, including predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. You can also opt for a hot air balloon safari, offering a panoramic view of the savannah and wildlife below.
In the Central Serengeti (Seronera), you’ll experience excellent game viewing opportunities, especially around the rolling plains and kopjes, where resident big cats like lions and leopards are often spotted.
